Penn State Scandal: Mike McQueary Will Sue Penn State In Whistleblower Lawsuit

Former Penn State wide receivers coach Mike McQueary filed notice on Tuesday that he will be suing the school in a whistleblower lawsuit (via Centre Daily.com). McQueary will be represented by attorney Elliot Strokoff.

The four-page document doesn't outline the details of the suit but does call it a whistleblower case where he's seeking damages outside normal arbitration limits.

McQueary is currently on administrative leave from Penn State. He was placed on leave last November. McQueary had testified in the Jerry Sandusky case as an eyewitness. McQueary had testified that when he was a graduate assistant he saw Sandusky, the PSU former defensive coordinator, in an "extremely sensual" situation with a young boy in the locker room showers. Court documents filed yesterday state that the incident happened in 2001, 13 months earlier than McQueary's original testimony.

The incident and McQueary's testimony are key in the case against former PSU administrators Tim Curley and Gary Schultz.
