76ers Owners To Slash Prices On Thousands Of Seats

The new Philadelphia 76ers ownership group announced today their intention to slash ticket prices on over 8,800 seats per game at the Wells Fargo center for the 2011-2012. These tickets will be single-ticket games and will be reduced by 50% of more from last years value, the 76ers new CEO Adam Aron announced today at their introductory press conference.

“We are committed to providing our fans with the most entertaining in-game experience in the NBA, and also one of the most affordable,” Aron said in a press release given to members of the media. "At the Sixers, we want to be on the side of the fan, so in these tough economic times when family budgets are strained, we decided to dramatically lower ticket prices, in many cases lowering ticket prices in half. We want to make the Philadelphia 76ers as accessible to our fans as possible. "

The Sixers will have lower bowl tickets as low as $29, and Mezzanine level seats for as low as $15. Last year those $15 tickets were priced at $30.

Last year the 76ers were 25th out of 30 NBA teams in attendance.
