Dwight Howard Dominates As Sixers Fall 99-95 To Magic

Dwight Howard scored 30 points and pulled 17 rebounds as the Orlando Magic edged the Philadelphia 76ers 99-95 at Wells Fargo Center. Lou Williams almost single-handedly pulled off a comeback for Philly with 18 points in the fourth quarter, but Howard was just a bit more clutch at the end.

The Sixers would cut the Magic lead to three with about a minute left, but Howard would score five points and force a turnover in the final minute to ice it for Orlando. Howard, who is shooting 57.9% from the free throw line this season, hit 14 of his 19 attempts tonight.

Andre Iguodala supplied 21 points and eight assists, Spencer Hawes pulled down 10 boards and Lou Williams led the team with 23 points. Jrue Holiday struggled with just 3 points on 1-5 shooting. The Sixers are now 6-4 over their last 10 and are holding on to the #7 seed in the Eastern conference.

Next up for the Sixers is the NBA's best team, the San Antonio Spurs, in Philadelphia on Friday night.
