The Philadelphia 76ers look for their third straight win Monday night at 7 p.m. when Dwight Howard and the Orlando Magic visit the Wells Fargo Center.
Howard will look to take advantage of a Philadelphia front line that has been shrunk -- in both height and depth -- by injuries. The team's normal starting center, Spencer Hawes, has missed the last seven games due to a strained left Achilles tendon, and his primary backup, rookie Nikola Vujevic, has missed four straight with a knee injury. Hawes is expected to miss Monday's bout with Orlando, and Vujevic is considered a game-time decision.
The Sixers have continued their solid play despite the injuries, winning three of their past four. The Sixers used suffocating defense to oust Charlotte and Detroit in their two most recent outings, surrendering an average of 73 points per game in the consecutive victories. Andre Iguodala registered a triple-double with 10 points, 10 assists and 10 rebounds in Philadelphia's 95-74 win against the Pistons on Friday.
