The NBA All-Star break expires Tuesday when the league returns to its regularly scheduled programing, as the Philadelphia 76ers visit the Detroit Pistons at The Palace of Auburn Hills (7:30 p.m. ET on CSN).

The Sixers (20-14) are trying to shake off a five-game losing streak and end a string of eight games, which have featured seven on the road, on a good note. Last Wednesday, Philadelphia finished the first half of the season on a sour one losing at the Houston Rockets, 93-87.

Luckily, Philly still has a solid cushion in the Eastern Conference's Atlantic Division standings, which features the 76ers still 3 1/2 games ahead of the second-place New York Knicks.

Meanwhile, the Pistons sit in last place in the Central Division standings, and at this point, are trying to play playoff spoiler for the remainder of the year.

Detroit, which ended its first half losers of two straight, is paced by forward Greg Monroe, who's averaging a team-best 16.7 points per game and 9.8 rebounds per game.
