The Philadelphia 76ers will face the Golden State Warriors on the 50th anniversary of Wilt Chamberlain's 100-point game.

The Philadelphia 76ers need a win in the worst way. They have lost six of their last seven games and watched their once massive lead in the Atlantic Division, dwindle to three games, with the Celtics and Knicks both gaining ground.

During their recent slide, the Sixers haven't just been losing, but doing it in style. The were blown out by the Magic, allowing 15 threes. They lost by a point to the Timberwolves on an extremely questionable foul call on Kevin Love. They blew a 14-point halftime lead against the Mavericks, allowing Dirk to single-handedly out-score them in the entire second half. And most recently, surrendered a seven-point lead with five minutes remaining in a home game against Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and the OKC Thunder.

Friday night the Sixers will look to take a step towards turing their season around, before they slide right out of first place, against Monta Ellis and the Golden State Warriors. On the 50th anniversary of Wilt Chamberlin's 100 point game, every fan in attendance will receive a 2"x2" piece of the court.

The game will be televised on ESPN. The Warriors are 14-18 on the season.
