Despite losing five of its last seven, Philadelphia currently boasts a half-game lead over the Knicks for the Eastern Conference's seventh playoff seed, and a two and a half-game cushion over the Milwaukee Bucks in the race to make the playoffs.
The Magic have also struggled of late, losing seven of their last 10 while dealing with locker room issues as well as an injury to Dwight Howard. Behind 21 points from Jameer Nelson, the Magic won their most recent outing 100-84 against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday.
The meeting with Orlando is Philadelphia's first during a stretch when the 76ers play six of their final seven on the road. Philadelphia's final five games are all away from the Wells Fargo Center.
