76ers Vs. Pacers Final Score: Philadelphia Loses 102-97 For Third Straight Loss

The Philadelphia 76ers hosted the Indiana Pacers in their final home game of the 2011-12 regular season. Unfortunately, the Sixers didn't get the momentum boost they needed heading into a five-game road stand to end the year. The Pacers won 102-97, thanks in large part to some spectacular shooting from beyond the 3-point arc.

For the game, Indiana went 13-for-24 from long range, compared to 5-for-14 by Philadelphia. The 24 extra points off of 3-pointers were vital during a game in which the Sixers largely weren't outplayed. Philadelphia shot 44.7 percent overall from the field compared to 41.6 percent by Indiana, made eight more free throws and won the rebounding battle 48 to 44.

The 76ers were down five points at the end of the first half, but used a 13-2 run to take a four-point lead at one point. Unfortunately it wouldn't last, as Philadelphia turned the ball over on their final three possessions of the third quarter to give the lead back for good.

Danny Granger was lights out. He went 6-for-8 from beyond the arc, on his way to a 24-point performance to lead all players. Roy Hibbert turned in a solid all-around perfromance--15 points, 13 rebounds--to give the Pacers a lift inside. Andre Iguodala scored 23 points to lead the Sixers, but was booed by fans late when he missed two free throws with 4:26 remaining in the game. Thaddeus Young added 19 points and six rebounds in the loss.
