The first half of the first game of the 2012 NBA Playoffs is in the books, and the Philadelphia 76ers trail the Chicago Bulls, 53-42.
The first half went exactly as you would expect a match-up between the one and eight seeds to go. The Bulls looked and played like a better team. The Sixers had a few moments and nice stretches, but were generally out-matched.
Elton Brand leads the Sixers with 15 points – also a game high. Without Brand, the Sixers would be shooting just 32 percent from the floor. Jrue Holiday and Thaddeus Young have eight a piece.
Richard Hamilton and Derrick Rose are both in double digits for the Bulls.
The remainder of the game can be seen on TNT.
