The Eastern Conference's number one seed, the Chicago Bulls, easily handled the Philadelphia 76ers in game one of the two teams' first round match-up in the 2012 NBA Playoffs. However; things got a lot more interesting in the final two minutes, when Derrick Rose suffered what looked to be a horrific knee injury.
Without Rose, the Bulls probably aren't going to win the Eastern Conference, let alone the Championship, but that doesn't mean they still can't beat the eight seed Sixers. They've played well without Rose all season and beat the Sixers without him on St. Patrick's Day, 89-80.
Evan Turner – who replaced Jodie Meeks in the starting lineup in the second half – played well and will probably start the rest of the series.
