NBA Playoffs 2012, Celtics Vs. 76ers: Philly Fans Thankful For Postseason Run

Stay connected for news and updates

The Philadelphia 76ers dream run in the NBA Playoff came to an end Saturday, as they lost to the Boston Celtics 85-75 in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference semifinals. The loss ended the Sixers season, but, as the SB Nation blog Liberty Ballers wrote early Sunday morning, all good things must come to an end sometime and Philly fans should feel thankful for a solid postseason run:

Listen, it was cool. It didn't look pretty and I hardly derived any tangible enjoyment of it while the games were actually on, but the Sixers winning 7 games this postseason over the Bulls and Celtics was a heckuva run that none of us were expecting. So for that, we can be thankful.

The Celtics move onto the Eastern Conference Finals where they will meet the Miami Heat in a best-of-seven series, the winner moves onto the 2012 NBA Finals.
