The rumors and speculation become real on Thursday night when the 2012 NBA Draft happens. New Orleans has the first pick in the draft, and Kentucky's Anthony Davis is the consensus top pick. Beyond Davis, the picture gets cloudier.
The Philadelphia 76ers have the 15th pick in the first round. One recent rumor had them interested in Ohio State's Jared Sullinger with that pick.
The draft starts at 7:00 p.m. Easter on Thursday, June 28, from the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. Both rounds will be broadcast live on ESPN and streamed live online via ESPN3. There will be additional coverage starting at 5:30 p.m. on NBA TV.
