Sixers Free Agency 2012: Kris Humphries Could Come To Philly

The Phiadelphia 76ers are in the market for a big body who can grab some boards and score on the low block. They may have found that man in Brooklyn Nets forward Kris Humphries.

The Nets have been trying to strike a deal for what seems like years for Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard, and need to shed Humphries to do so. According to LibertyBallers.com, the Sixers might be the team to take Humphries off their hands.

If you're a Philadelphia fan, the question is whether you want to give up anything to help Brooklyn become a powerhouse, even if you are acquiring a solid player. While Humphries would certainly provide an upgrade to Elton Brand, is it worth helping a division rival?

The Sixers will have to pay Humphries a sizable contract, something else to consider when pulling the trigger on such a deal. The last thing they need is to get caught with a deal that ends up being an albatross around the franchise's neck.
