Over at Bleeding Green Nation, we gave the week 3 game ball to DT Trevor Laws. The third year man was a dominant presence on the interior of the Eagles defensive line and seemed to be in the backfield on every other play.
He only recorded one sack in the game, which Philly.com’s Sheil Kapadia thought was odd.
Laws dropped Garrard for a 2-yard loss in the first, although I’m not sure why he wasn’t credited with a sack on the play.
The NFL wasn’t sure why either, so they credited Laws with a second sack in the game. He reacted on twitter.
They tried to rob yer boy but now they can call him by his rightful name. “TWO-SACKS MCGEE”
