Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jeremy Maclin will not participate in Wednesday's practice, coach Andy Reid said Wednesday.

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jeremy Maclin will not participate in Wednesday's practice, coach Andy Reid said Wednesday.

Maclin suffered multiple injuries, to his hamstring and shoulder, during Sunday's loss to the Arizona Cardinals. The wide receiver briefly left the field during the first half after taking a hit to the shoulder, then left for good in the fourth quarter after aggravating his hamstring.

If Maclin does not play Sunday, Steve Smith or Riley Cooper could see additional reps. Andy Reid said DeSean Jackson would regain his starting position Sunday against the Giants after missing the Arizona game for disciplinary reasons.

King Dunlap (concussion), Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (ankle) and Michael Vick (ribs) also will not practice Wednesday. Safety Nate Allen and guard Nate Mathis returned to the field. Allen missed Sunday's game with a concussion, and a toe injury sidelined Mathis.
