Eagles Offseason 2012: Philadelphia, Cullen Jenkins Agree To Restructured Deal

The Philadelphia Eagles and defensive tackle Cullen Jenkins agreed Tuesday on a new restructured contract that will give the Eagles a bit more salary cap flexibility. According to Nick Fierro of The Morning Call, Jenkins was due a $5 million roster bonus in March, and the new deal could help the Eagles make another splash in the free-agent mark this year.

"We are very excited about having Cullen back on our football team," general manager Howie Roseman said. "Cullen made an immediate impact for us this year on and off the field. We look forward to a great future together with him in an Eagles uniform."

Last offseason, Jenkins signed with the Eagles after spending the previous seven years with the Green Bay Packers. In his first year with Philadelphia, Jenkins tallied 5.5 sacks and a total of 61 tackles.
