The 2012 NFL Combine results for Sunday's workouts is available for the running backs (via NFL.com).
Temple's Bernard Pierce wasn't known as a speedster in college and wasn't expected to blow anyone away with his 40-yard dash time. He did however put up a respectable 4.49 in the event. His 10-yard split time was a 1.52 which was better than LaMichael James' 1.6.
In the 225-pound bench press, Pierce did 17 reps. Pierce's vertical jump was marked at 36.5 inches. His best event was the broad jump: 123 inches. Pierce also finished the 3-cone drill in 7.07 seconds and the 20-yard shuttle drill in 4.28 seconds.
Pierce was in the top ten in the broad jump (tied for 2nd), vertical jump (tied for 5th) and 3-cone drill (9th). Pierce's grade at NFL.com ranks him as a draftable player in the 4th-7th round.
