Eagles Free Agency 2012: Winston Justice Traded To Colts

The Philadelphia Eagles are a busy team this Wednesday morning.

After signing Trent Cole to a four-year extension earlier, the Eagles have now dealt Winston Justice and a sixth round pick in 2012 to the Indianapolis Colts for their sixth round pick in April's NFL Draft, according to Eagles Insider.

This move was mainly executed for financial reasons. Philadelphia saves more than four million dollars in each of the next two seasons by getting Justice out of town. The Eagles also move up from 15th to second in the sixth round with the deal.

Justice isn't a big loss for Philly. After being a starter in 2009 and 2010, Justice only appeared in six games last season and started just one.

The 27-year-old right tackle perhaps will be best remembered when the Giants dismantled him and in turn Donovan McNabb on Sunday Night Football back in 2007. New York piled up 12 sacks, many of which were at Justice's expense.
