2012 NFL Mock Draft: Eagles Could Add A Suprise Offensive Weapon

Stay connected for news and updates

The 5th annual SBNation wide writer's mock draft is still going strong over at our NFL Draft site, Mocking The Draft, but the Eagles part of it is done. The general idea in this two round mock is that the league blogger from each of our 32 NFL blogs acts as the general manager for his or her respective team. As the Eagles drafter, I had three picks. Below are my three picks with links to the stories so you can check out my reasoning, our draft guy Dan Kadar's reaction and to vote on a grade.

Round 1, Pick #15 - Luke Kuechly, LB, Boston College. Story link.

Round 2, Pick #46 - Trumaine Johnson, CB, Montana. Story link.

Round 2, Pick #51 - LaMichael James, RB, Oregon. Story link.

Definitely check out my full explanations, but overall I'd say my first pick is mostly wishful thinking, picks #2 is more practical and something I think could actually happen, while pick #3 is a bit of a wildcard (but not all that farfetched if you read why).
