Mel Kiper NFL Mock Draft 2012: Michael Brockers Selected To Philadelphia Eagles

Stay connected for news and updates

In Mel Kiper's latest 2012 NFL Mock Draft, the ESPN analyst projects that the Philadelphia Eagles will use the No. 15 pick in the 2012 NFL Draft to select Michael Brockers, a defensive end from LSU.

Kiper normally doesn't include trades in his mock drafts, but had previously slotted the Eagles to trade up and select Fletcher Cox, a defensive tackle from Mississippi State who Philadelphia reportedly covets. But if they stay at their slotted 15th pick, the Eagles could do worse than Brockers.

A great fit, Brockers helps the Eagles where they are desperate, on the interior of the defensive line. Even if they move down the board, this is a need I expect them to address.
