2012 NFL Draft Day 3: Temple TE Evan Rodriguez Selected By Chicago Bears

Temple Owls tight end prospect Evan Rodriguez has been selected by the Chicago Bears with the 111th overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, Rodriguez was ranked by ESPN as the eighth best TE in the draft.

Evan’s college playing career included 811 yards and 7 touchdowns. He is a slightly undersized TE at 6’1" and 239 pounds, but what he lacks in size, makes up in speed recording a 4.58 40-time at the Scouting Combine. Rodriguez showed durability in his college career missing only one game due to undisclosed reasons. He is a tough player who shows his toughness by running hard after the catch.
