2012 NFL Draft: Eagles Sign 4 Undrafted Free Agents Immediately Following Draft

As reported by NEPatriotsdraft, the Philadelphia Eagles wasted no time following the 2012 NFL Draft, signing four undrafted free agents:

  • Chris Polk - Polk is a sophomore running back coming from the Washington Huskies, racking up over 1400 yards and being selected for the All-PAC 12 team in his 2011 season. He saw his draft stock fall due to rumors of injury, leading to his free agent signing with Philadelphia.
  • Cliff Harris - Harris is a cornerback coming from the University of Oregon. Teams stayed away from Harris primarily due to character issues, which cost him his 2011 season when he was suspended after being cited for speeding while having a suspended license. In 2010 he shined, leading the NCAA in passes defended, racking up five interceptions and four punt return touchdowns.
  • Emil Igwenagu - Igwenagu comes out of University of Massachusetts and has decent speed. At 6'1" tall, he's undersized for the tight end position at the NFL level and may have to transition to halfback. His blocking skills aren't great, further detracting from his offensive versitility.
  • Matt Camilli - A long-snapper out of University of Texas at El Paso, Camilli saw action snapping for punts, going his junior year without a blocked punt and collecting four tackles.
