Vince Young Signs With Buffalo Bills, According To Report

Stay connected for news and updates

Once the Philadelphia Eagles signed Trent Edwards, it became almost certain they would allow Vince Young to leave via free agency. Now, it's certain.

Young is set to sign a one-year deal with the Buffalo Bills on Friday, as first reported by Adam Schefter, reportedly worth $2 million with another $1 million in bonuses depending on how much playing time he earns.

The Bills spent big money last season to sign starting quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick to a long-term extension, so Young again projects to be a backup. Playing as the Eagles' primary backup to Michael Vick in 2011, Young experienced his fair share of struggles. He appeared in just six games, starting three, and finished the season with 866 yards, four touchdowns and nine interceptions.
