Moten, 24, appeared in 12 games as a rookie during the 2011 season, notching seven tackles. He was signed by the Indianapolis Colts prior to the 2011 season as an undrafted rookie free agent after a college career at Maryland. After 10 games with the Colts, Moten was cut in November and claimed off waivers by the Seahawks.
Philadelphia also used the NFL Draft to bolster its linebacking corpse, selecting Mychal Kendricks out of California in the second round. Kendricks impressed the coaching staff during rookie training camp and will compete for a starting job.
The Eagles begin OTAs on Tuesday, with veteran minicamp arriving in mid-June.
