Ollie Ogbu Trade: Philadelphia Eagles Trade DB D.J. Johnson To Colts For DT Ogbu

The Philadelphia Eagles were able to fill up their 90-man roster on Sunday with a trade and atwo signings, the team announced.

The Eagles traded cornerback D.J. Johnson to the Indianapolis Colts for defensive tackle Ollie Ogbu. The defensive tackle was signed as a free agent by the Colts last season and spent the year on the practice squad. Ogbu played at Penn State as a four-year starter before his NFL career.

In addition to the Ogbu trade, the Eagles also signed wide receiver Anthony Jones and cornerback Kee-ayre Griffin. Jones led the Arena Football League in receiving yards (2,010) before joining the Eagles for training camp. Griffin was a part of rookie camp with Philadelphia this season. Griffin began his college career at Temple as a running back but converted to the cornerback position in 2009. He had three interceptions, 49 tackles and two blocked kicks for the Owls in 2011.

Eagles rookies and veterans reported to Lehigh University on Sunday to prepare for the start of training camp.
