Eagles Offseason 2012: Will Philadelphia Select Josh Gordon In Supplemental Draft?

The Philadelphia Eagles are loaded on offense, but why not take another playmaker at a good price, right?

Maybe that's what Andy Reid and company are thinking with the 2012 NFL Supplemental Draft rapidly approaching. The player that many people feel could be a nice fit for the Eagles is Baylor WR Josh Gordon, according to Bleeding Green Nation.

Gordon is 6 feet 3, 225 pounds and can run, making him a very intriguing prospect. In fact, some even believe him to be a better athlete than his former teammate Kendall Wright, who was just drafted 20th overall by the Tennessee Titans.

However, Gordon was suspended for the entire 2011 season for breaking team rules, so there are some serious character concerns. The rumors swirling suggest that a third round pick might be the ticket to land Gordon, which begs the question is Philly comfortable with that price?

For those unaware, if a team takes a player in the supplemental draft, it has to forfeit a pick in the same round for the upcoming NFL Draft.
