Eagles Vs Giants Score: Philadelphia Takes 7-3 At The Half

Stay connected for news and updates

The Eagles and Giants are locked in a defensive battle that ended with just a spurt of offense at the very end. Philadelphia will take a slim 7-3 lead into the locker room at halftime.

After nearly 2 quarters of scoreless football and very little movement for either offense, the Eagles finally got rolling with an 11 play 70 yard drive that ended with 19 yard Michael Vick strike to DeSean Jackson. The Giants would hit right back when Eli Manning led the Giants on an 10 play, 81 yard drive that ended with a Lawrence Tynes FG.

Both QBs have been under constant pressure and yet there have been no sacks and no turnovers in this one. Michael Vick is 11-19 with 132 yards and a TD while Eli Manning has completed 14-26 for 151 yards. Neither team have been able to get anything going on the ground, in fact Michael Vick is the game's leading rusher with 19 yards.

Nnamdi Asomugha left the game late in the 2nd quarter after being poked in the eye by Giants WR Ramses Barden. There's no word yet on his return.
