Stay connected for news and updates

The Flyers look to get back on track tonight as they host the NHL's worst team. Former Flyer Jeff Carter will miss the game, in what was supposed to be his return to Philadelphia.

The 7-4-2 Philadelphia Fylers will host the National Hockey League's worst team tonight. The Columbus Blue Jackets own a 2-10-1 record this season and only have five points.

Former Philadelphia Flyer Jeff Carter is now a columbus Blue Jacket and tonight was supposed to be his return to the Wells Fargo Center. However; it looks like Carter will miss his ninth consecutive game with a hairline fracture in his foot. The former first round pick of the Flyers played his first six seasons in Philadelphia before being traded to the Blue Jackets this summer for two draft picks. Carter has only played in five games this season and has yet to score his first goal as a Blue Jacket.

The Flyers will look to get back on track tonight after losing to the New Jersey Devils 4-3 in a shootout two nights ago.
