Flyers Vs Penguins: Jaromir Jagr Returns To Pittsburgh

Flyers forward Jaromir Jagr returns to Pittsburgh to take on his old team tonight.

The Philadelphia Flyers (21-10-4) travel to the Consol Energy Center tonight to take on the Pittsburgh Penguins (21-11-4) at 7 p.m. (TV: CSN-PH).

Both teams are tied for second place in the Atlantic Division with 46 points. The Flyers are 1-3-1 in their last five games while the Penguins are on a four-game winning streak. This will be the last game of the year for the Flyers. Their next game will be the 2012 Winter Classic against the New York Rangers on Jan. 2, 2012.

Jaromir Jagr will be playing against the Penguins in Pittsburgh for the first time as a Flyer. Jagr played the first 11 years of his career in Pittsburgh. His last game at Pittsburgh came in 2008 when he was a member of the Rangers. Jagr said about his return:

"To me, it doesn't matter," Jagr said of returning to Pittsburgh. "I just play every game the same - Pittsburgh, Rangers, Tampa Bay. It doesn't matter." (via Flyers.nhl.com)

Scott Hartnell enters the game on a four-game point streak. Hartnell is tied for the Flyers' lead in goals (17) and is second in points (33). Evgeni Malkin has an eight-game point streak for Pittsburgh. The Flyers have not yet decided who will be in net to try to stop Malkin and the Penguins.
