Flyers Rally To Crush Penguins 5-2

The Flyers rallied from a goal down to beat the Penguins 5-2 thanks in part to a pair of third period goals from Ville Leino. The win ensures the Flyers stay atop the Atlantic division and the Eastern conference with their 100th point of the season. With five games left, the Flyers now hold a four point lead and have a game in hand over the Penguins for the Atlantic division crown.

Jeff Carter scored his team leading 35th goal, Scott Hartnell added his 21st and Claude Giroux scored his 25th while Sergei Bobrovsky made 25 saves. With Bob getting the start in these high pressure games down the stretch, it's becoming increasingly clear that he's going to be the guy come playoff time. Since his poor start against Washington a week ago, Bobrovsky has allowed just 6 goals in the last four games, which included a game against the Bruins and two against the Penguins.

The Flyers have now swept the Penguins in Pittsburgh this season. Next up the Flyers face the Thrashers on Thursday in Philadelphia.
