Nikolay Zherdev Reportedly Involved In Domestic Incident

Flyers' forward Nikolay Zherdev has reportedly been involved in a domestic incident back in his native Russia. Zherdev was reportedly involved in an argument with his wife at a restaurant near Moscow that at some point led to her getting in their Bentley and attempting to drive off. Zherdev reportedly then grabbed a metal pole and hit the car as she was leaving.

The manager of the restaurant later denied that the incident even happened.

Who really knows what happened... and given that he wasn't beating his wife, it happened in Russia, and Zherdev is set to be a free agent... I don't think it much matters. He's almost certainly not going to be a Flyer next season, so if he's hitting expensive cars with a pipe in Russia... oh well.
