The Philadelphia Flyers improved to 28-14-4 today with a road win over the New Jersey Devils. After falling to the Islanders on Thursday by a final of 4-1, the Flyers bounced back with a 4-1 victory of their own over the Devils. The Flyers are now tied with the Ottawa Senators with 60 points for the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference.
Despite being out-shot and out-hit the Flyers were able to capitalize on 47 penalty minutes from the Devils by scoring two of their four goals via the power play.
Today's may be a costly win however, because according to the Flyers GM, center Danny Briere is expected to be miss a considerable amount of time with a concussion.

Briere has 13 goals and 17 assists on the season.
