Philadelphia has won three of the first four contests during the home stand, including a 4-1 thumping of the Montreal Canadiens on Monday. Danny Briere busted out of a scoring slump with two goals and Ilya Bryzgalov made 23 saves as Philadelphia clinched a playoff berth with the win.
Tampa Bay has won two straight, the most recent being a 4-3 comeback against the New York Islanders on Saturday night. Steven Stamkos netted two goals and an assist to pace Tampa Bay and Dwayne Roloson added 34 saves.
