Flyers Vs. Senators Score Update: Flyers Roar Back, Tie Game at Three

And just like that the Flyers are back in it.

There's a reason the Flyers are the second-highest scoring team in the NHL. Down 3-0 after one period of play, they out-scored the Ottawa Senators 3-0 in the second period to knot the game at three going into the third and final period.

Wayne Simmonds scored his 26th goal of the season, early in the period, followed by Sean Couturier and Braydon Coburn scoring their 13th and fourth goals of the season, respectively. Jaromir Jagr has recorded a game-high five shots on goal, but is yet to convert.

After allowing three of the Senators 12 shots to reach the back of the net in the first period, Flyers goalie, Sergei Bobrovsky, saved all 10 shots he saw in the second period.

Both teams are 0-3 on power play chances.
