2012 NHL Playoffs, Flyers Vs. Penguins: Jakub Voracek Overtime Goal Completes Philadelphia Comeback

After the first period of play on Wednesday night's series opener, it looked like the Philadelphia Flyers were in trouble. The Pittsburgh Penguins jumped out to a commanding 3-0 lead in the first, but the Flyers battled back to send it to overtime. Just over two minutes into the first overtime period, Jakub Voracek scored the game-winner.

Danny Briere put the Flyers back in the game with two goals. Brayden Schenn tied it late in the third period when he tipped in a slap shot on a power play.

In overtime, the puck rolled in front of the net. Two Penguins players failed to clear it, when Voracek swooped in from the side to push the puck in for the win, just one more act in a night of dramatics from the Flyers.

Goalie Ilya Bryzgalov tightened up in the net after a rough first period, fending off an aggressive Penguins offense. He finished the game with 25 saves on 28 shots. Marc Andre Fleury turned away 22 of 26 in the loss.

The Flyers now lead the series 1-0. They play again in Pittsburgh on Friday night, before coming home for game three on Sunday.
