Ilya Bryzgalov Injury: Flyers Goalie A Game-Time Decision For Game Five

Stay connected for news and updates

According to Howard Eskin, Ilya Bryzgalov could miss Friday's game with a hip injury.

If Bryzgalov is unable to play, Sergei Bobrovsky will man the net for the Flyers, who – like Bryz – allowed five goals in the Penguins 10-goal barrage on Wednesday. However; Travis Hughes from Broad Street Hockey is still confident in Bobrovsky's abilities.

Bob historically has unreal numbers against the Penguins and at Consol Energy Center in general, and Bob is a capable goaltender. There's certainly drop off from Bryzgalov, but a healthy Bobrovsky is better than the Bryzgalov we saw last night any day of the week.
