The Phillies will look to get on the right track in Arizona against Wade Miley and the Diamondbacks.

On Monday night, the Philadelphia Phillies will make a trip to the desert to take on the Arizona Diamondbacks.

This game was supposed to be a pitchers duel with Cliff Lee scheduled to face Daniel Hudson, but things haven't gone according to plan.

Both starters were scratched in favor of the disabled list. Lee strained his left oblique and will be busy trying to rest and recover while Hudson has a right shoulder issue. Neither is expected to be serious but this early in the campaign it's much wiser to be safe then sorry.

Those ailments leave the pitching duties to Kyle Kendrick and Wade Miley.

Kendrick has been sensational out of the bullpen this year sporting a 1.93 ERA. Miley has been dealing as well with a 3.12 ERA, although he was rocked in his last appearance giving up three earned runs in just one and two-third innings.

Both teams are treading water with struggling offenses and could use a nice series win. Arizona is 8-8 while the Phillies are a disappointing 7-9.

It will all start tonight under the bright lights of Chase Field.
