Leading off and playing center field for your Philadelphia Phillies... Shane Victorino! The Phillies have released their starting lineup for today's 1:35 opening day matchup against the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Flyin' Hawaiian will be leading off. Victorino can get on base better than anyone in the lineup so he would seem to be a natural fit for the top spot.
Following him will be Placido Polanco in his familiar 2 hole. Jimmy Rollins and Hunter Pence will bat 3 & 4 in place of Chase Utley and Ryan Howard. Ty Wigginton gets a bit of a surprise start at first base against his old club and will hit 5th. John Mayberry Jr hits 6th in LF, Carlos Ruiz is 7th, Freddy Galvis 8th and Roy Halladay in the 9 hole.
