The Philadelphia Phillies look to snap back from a three-game skid when they open a series with the San Diego Padres Friday night.

Philadelphia will try to use the three-game set with the Padres to fix a ship that has recently been springing leaks.
The Phillies coughed up leads in three consecutive outings to get swept by the New York Mets in their previous series. Cliff Lee returned from the disabled list to throw six strong Wednesday night, leaving with a 4-2 lead. But the Phillies bullpen surrendered eight runs in the final three frames, giving way to a 10-5 Mets lead.
Worley (2-2, 2.84 ERA) has been strong this year. The Padres will counter with Clayton Richard (1-4, 4.89 ERA).
