Roy Halladay Injury: Phillies Starting Pitcher Leaves Game In Third Inning With Shoulder Soreness

Philadelphia Phillies starting pitcher Roy Halladay left Sunday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals in the third inning with right shoulder soreness (via CSN Philly).

Halladay had given up four runs (all earned) on a one home run during the first two innings. He also walked one batter and did not record a strikeout. The Phillies said that Halladay was pulled as a precaution. The temperature during the game was in the mid-90s which might have impacted Halladay but certainly took its toll on one of his foes.

St. Louis catcher Yadier Molina hit a grand slam off of Halladay in the first inning but left the game in the fifth inning due to dehydration.
