For the a little of two weeks now, trade rumors surrounding Philadelphia Phillies veteran outfielder Shane Victorino have been floating around. The veteran outfielder is having a down year in Philly, and has seemed very unhappy at times about his situation with the club.

The odds of Victorino moving before the MLB trade deadline seem likely, however, it may not happen unless the Philles drop their asking price for the struggling 31-year-old, says Rob Biertempfel, Pittsburgh Pirates beat writer for the Pittsburgh Tribune.

In all, it does seem the Pirates, who currently sit just a 1/2-game back of the top of the National League Central Division standings, are the team most interested in Victorino, who would benefit from a change of scenery.
