MLB Trade Rumors: Phillies, Dodgers Close On Shane Victorino Deal -- Report

Stay connected for news and updates

The MLB non-waiver trade deadline is close, and the Philadelphia Phillies are expected to be major sellers in the intense action which ends at 4 p.m. ET. One of the pieces that could be leaving Philly Tuesday is veteran outfielder Shane Victorino, who's close to being dealt to the Los Angeles Dodgers, ESPN.com's Jason Stark is reporting via Twitter.

The deal, says Stark, could involve the Phillies trading away Victorino to the Dodgers' for pitcher Josh Lindblom and another player.

Lindblom, 25, made his major league debut in June and has been mainly used out of the bullpen. In 2008, the righty was drafted by the Dodgers in the second round.

Meanwhile, Victorino has struggled this season at the plate and has some clubhouse issues.
