Four straight wins for Philadelphia has the team wondering if the season isn't as over as many had thought.

Charlie Manuel wants to remind Philadelphia Phillies fans never to say never: although the season looked all but over, a double-header sweep Sunday means his team has won four straight heading into a series against the worst team in the division, putting them six games back of the National League's second Wild Card berth - a long shot, but still a shot.

Philadelphia has 22 games left in their season, as do the St. Louis Cardinals, who sit in the final playoff spot in the NL. Obviously, it would take a ridiculous turn of events for the Phillies to even pass the Cardinals - not to mention the two teams in between them in the standings, the Los Angeles Dodgers and Pittsburgh Pirates - but with the way the team has played over the last few games, it's not impossible.

Kyle Kendrick takes the mound to start a three game set against the Miami Marlins. Kendrick has only allowed six runs in his last five starts including seven shutout innings against the Marlins on Aug. 14. He'll face Wade LeBlanc, who returned from a stint in the bullpen Sept. 4 with a six-inning, three-run outing against Milwaukee.
