Odds: The Owls are 7-point favorites over the Cowboys.

Broadcast Information: The game will be broadcast nationally on ESPN and ESPN3 as the New Mexico Bowl kicks off the 2011 College Bowl Season.

Series History: Temple and Wyoming have only played one time in the history of both football programs. The Cowboys defeated the Owls 38-23 in 1990. 

Last Time Out: Temple defeated Kent State 34-16 on November 25. Running back Bernard Pierce ran for 189 yards and three touchdowns. 

Owls By The Numbers: Temple ranks seventh in the nation in rushing at 257 yards per game. 

Cowboys By The Numbers: Wyoming has the sixth worst rush defense in college football, allowing 230 yards per game.

Storyline: Temple is playing in only their fourth bowl game in school history, and haven't won a bowl game in over 30 years. Something else to watch is the long lay-off for both teams. Wyoming hasn't played since December 3, but Temple hasn't played since November 25. 

Players To Watch: Temple running back Bernard Pierce is sixth in the nation in rushing yards per game at 126. He's also third in the nation in rushing touchdowns with 25. The junior could be playing his last college football game if he decided to go pro.
