The Temple Owls have secured their 27th commitment for the class of 2013 in the form of Jarid Brown from Archbishop Carroll High School in Washington DC. The 6-0, 175 pound Brown is listed only as an athlete and could be used in a number of different positions for the Owls, but he did play Wide Receiver in high school.

Brown chose Temple over Marshall, Ohio, Toledo and James Madison. We'll continue to follow Temple recruiting news as Steve Addazio looks to build his squad for 2013. The current class of Owls will be set to take part in their second bowl game in three years when they face the Wyoming Cowboys in the New Mexico Bowl on Saturday, December 17th. The Owls have opened up as early favorites in the game. Both teams enter at 8-4.
