Temple Begins Conference Play Against Dayton

Stay connected for news and updates

Temple begins conference play tonight as they hope to ride the momentum of their upset of the third-ranked Duke Blue Devils their last time out.

The 10-3 Temple Owls begin conference play tonight as they host the Dayton Flyers. Temple is riding a four game winning streak and have won seven of their last eight games, including a huge upset of the third-ranked Duke Blue Devils their last time out.

Dayton is on a winning streak of their own – three games – and have won six of their last seven. Their last time out they defeated the Saint Louis Billikens in overtime. Dayton will be playing only their third road game of the season tonight; they lost their first two. Temple, on the other hand, has only lost one road game this season, and that was early in the season against the Purdue Boilermakers.

Temple is a dangerous team in the Atlantic 10. They're playing well, and they've been doing it without their best big man and defensive anchor Michael Eric. Eric is scheduled to return sometime this month.
