Temple Vs Fordham: Owls Host Struggling Rams

Temple looks for its fifth straight win Wednesday night against Rhode Island.

The Temple Owls look for their fifth straight win when the host the struggling Rhode Island Rams Wednesday night at 7 p.m. at the Liacouras Center.

Temple (15-5) moved to 4-2 in Atlantic 10 Conference play on Saturday with a victory against St. Joe's. Ramone Moore scored 21 points, Juan Fernandez added 17 and the Owls shot a scorching 60.0 percent from the field during the 78-60 win. St. Joe's fell behind by double digits early in the first half and could not stop Temple's offensive onslaught.

Rhode Island (4-19, 1-5) surprised Dayton on Saturday, 86-81, for its first conference win. The Rams used 25 points from Billy Baron to help snap a six-game losing streak, and Jonathan Holton added 16 points and 11 rebounds. Baron leads the way with 14.1 points per game, and Holton averages 10.9 points and 8.2 rebounds.
