College Basketball Bracketology: Temple And Drexel Move Up

Drexel and Temple both ascend in the rankings with excellent play over the weekend.

Feb 13, 2012 - In the latest SB Nation bracketology piece, Temple and Drexel see themselves rewarded for continued solid play.

Temple moved up to a No. 5 seed after being a slot below that last week. The Owls have played very well recently including an 85-72 beating of Atlantic 10 rival Xavier over the weekend. They're currently leading the conference with an 8-2 mark in the A-10.

Temple has won eight straight and has quality wins over Xavier, Duke and St. Joe's. If the Owls can finish strong, they'll be a lock for the NCAA tournament regardless of their showing in the conference tourney.

Drexel is also red-hot. The Dragons made the jump from a No. 14 seed last week to a No. 13 now. They've won 13 consecutive games and 19 of their last 20. Drexel is currently tied atop the Colonial with VCU and George Mason with identical 13-2 conference records, but has already beaten both of them.
