Make it eight straight for the high flying Temple Owls. The Owls beat St. Bonaventure by a final score of 76-70 on Wednesday night.

Ramone Moore led the way with 19 points for the Owls, who trailed by a point after the first half. The Bonnies kept it close until the 11-minute mark in the second half. Khalif Wyatt hit a three-point jumper and Moore followed with a layup and a three-point shot of his own to make it 53-43 with just under nine minutes to play.

Moore and Wyatt, who had 17 points, were two of four Temple players scoring in double figures. Michael Eric led the team with 11 rebounds.

The Owls lead St. Louis University by half a game for the top spot in the Atlantic 10. The win moves them to 20-5 for the season and 9-2 in conference play as they enter the home stretch.

The Owls host the Duquesne Dukes on Saturday.

Temple Vs St. Bonaventure: Owls Look To Maintain Lead In Atlantic 10

The Temple Owls look to extend their eight game winning streak and maintain their lead atop the Atlantic 10 Conference on Wednesday night when they visit the St. Bonaventure Bonnies.

Temple has not lost since Jan. 14, rattling off a long streak of eight consecutive wins, six of them by double digits. The Owls ousted Xavier on Saturday night in a nationally televised game behind Ramone Moore's 30-point effort. Khalif Wyatt added 18 points and Micheal Eric notched his fourth career double-double with 11 points and 16 rebounds as Temple improved to 19-5 overall and 8-2 in league play.

St. Bonaventure has lost two out of three, but own a 9-1 home record. The Bonnies hammered Duquesne 69-48 on Saturday behind the fierce play of Andrew Nicholson, who had a monster night of 21 points and 23 rebounds. Chris Johnson added 15 points off the bench in the win.
