Temple Vs. Rhode Island Final Score: Owls Roll 73-56

The Temple Owls recorded their sixth consecutive win today as they defeated the Rhode Island Rams by a final score of 73-56. Now 17-5 overall and 6-2 in the Atlantic 10 Conference, the Owls are all alone atop the standings, leading second place La Salle and Xavier by half a game.

The Owls held Rhode Island to 36 percent shooting and forced 13 turnovers. Meanwhile, Temple shot 52 percent and turned the ball over only seven times. The Owls were led by Ramone Moore, who scored a game-high 22 points on 20 shots. Khlaiff Wyatt and Aaron Brown also scored in double figures with 16 and 15, respectively.

The Rams were led by Nikola Malesevic, Jonathan Holton and Billy Baron, who combined for 36 of the team's 56 points. The Rams bench recorded only six points and seven rebounds in 48 minutes of action.

Temple's next game is scheduled for February 8 against George Washington.
